Published list rates.
Data pricing in USD per destination, for both pool types. These are list prices — volume, contract term and a multi-region footprint are all worth raising, so treat this page as the starting point of a conversation rather than the end of one.
Pick an allowance, multiply by the fleet.
On a dynamic pool the bundle is the per-device allowance and the pool is that figure times your device count. Ranges below span every priced destination.
Telematics only

Standard video telematics
Regular ADAS and DMS alert clips, daily uploads, and remote live view now and then.

Reading the table. Per GB is the in-pool rate and applies to both dynamic and static pools. The 1 / 2 / 5 GB columns are per-device allowance prices on a dynamic pool, priced at or below the in-pool per-GB rate. Larger tiers — 3 GB and 10 GB — are available too; size any of them in the pool calculator. Overage is what a gigabyte costs once the pool is exhausted.
Currency and validity
All rates in USD. Pricing is indicative and subject to confirmation; a written quotation is valid for 30 days from issue.
What is not in here
Data only. Devices, FT Cloud licensing and options such as private APN, fixed IP or VPN are quoted separately.

What if a vehicle runs in more than one region?
A pool is one quantity of data at one price. A truck that loads in Rotterdam and unloads in Casablanca is consuming data at two very different costs — $1.25 and $2.75 a gigabyte. Charging one flat rate either overprices the easy country or loses money on the hard one. Here is how we resolve it without making you predict the split.
Two things we will not do
- No roaming surcharge. Not a percentage, not a separate line, not a different invoice. Crossing a border is not a billable event.
- No second pool to manage. You do not buy a European allowance and a Moroccan allowance and then watch one strand while the other overflows. One pool, one balance, the whole fleet.
What we do instead
Your pool is bought at your home region's rate, exactly as it is today. Data used elsewhere draws more of that same pool, in proportion to what the destination actually costs — and nothing more. A gigabyte in a band ×2 country draws two gigabytes' worth of pool. That is the entire mechanism.
Usage is rated against the network the device was attached to when the bytes moved — not the vehicle's registered country, and not where the contract was signed.
The bands
| Draws | Published rate | Destinations |
|---|---|---|
| ×1 | $1.25 – $1.75 | EU, UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines |
| ×2 | $2.25 – $3.25 | India, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, Mexico, United States |
| ×3 | $4.25 – $4.50 | United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica |
| ×4 | $5.50 | Argentina, Chile, Nigeria |
| ×5 | $7.00 | Ecuador, Kenya, Saudi Arabia |
Bands are cut on price, not on geography — the two do not line up. A single region can span three bands, which is exactly why "a surcharge for leaving Europe" would be the wrong instrument.
Worked through
A 1,204-vehicle fleet on the 2 GB tier, home region the EU. The pool is 2,408 GB.
| A vehicle's month | Used | Band | Draws from pool |
|---|---|---|---|
| Netherlands, Belgium, France | 1.4 GB | ×1 | 1.4 GB |
| Morocco | 0.6 GB | ×2 | 1.2 GB |
| Total | 2.0 GB | — | 2.6 GB |
That vehicle drew 2.6 GB against a 2 GB share — and the quiet vehicles that never left the depot covered it, which is the whole point of a pool. Nothing is invoiced separately; the fleet total is still the only thing that has to fit.
You see it before the invoice does
FT Cloud shows the pool drawn down per band, so a fleet that has quietly started running into a ×4 country is visible in week one. Set an alert on it and nothing arrives as a surprise at month end.
Overage follows the same logic
Past the pool, a gigabyte is billed at the published overage rate of the country it was used in — not an averaged rate, and not the most expensive one you touched.
Three shapes, depending on how the fleet actually runs
Most fleets are not really cross-border — they are domestic with occasional hops. Some genuinely have no home region. The mechanism above serves all three; only the packaging changes.
A home region, with trips out of it
Buy the pool at your home rate. Data abroad draws the band multiple. The price you quote internally is still one number per device per month, and border crossings do not need approving.
No home region at all
International haulage that genuinely lives across bands. We rate your actual route mix and quote one blended $/GB for the whole footprint — a single price, no bands to read. Re-based at renewal against what the fleet really did.
A fixed budget, whatever the route
Buy a block of pool at the home rate and let the bands draw it down. The number you committed to does not move, whatever the fleet does — you simply reach the end of it sooner or later.
Tell us the routes, not the countries. Two fleets in the same five countries can have completely different bills, because what matters is where the gigabytes land, not where the trucks are registered. Send your Customer Success Manager the actual lanes and the upload profile and they will confirm the bands, the home region and — if it suits you better — a blended rate.
Talk to us before you commit the number.
Everything above is published list price. Volume, contract length, a multi-country footprint and bundling connectivity with hardware are all worth putting to your Customer Success Manager or Business Development Manager — what is possible depends on the deal. Give them the fleet size and the routes rather than budgeting from this table alone.
Tell us the routes, we will size the pool.
Send the countries you operate in, the device count, and the footage each vehicle uploads per day. You get back a pool size, a landed price per device per month, and a coverage read for every country on the list.
Published rates are list. Volume, contract term and a multi-region footprint are all worth putting in front of your Customer Success Manager or Business Development Manager before you build a budget from them.
What to send us
- Countries and, if they cross borders, the routes.
- Device count now and at 12 months.
- Device model and whether the SIM is soldered or a plug-in.
- Typical upload per vehicle per day, and what triggers a clip.
- Anything non-standard: private APN, fixed IP, VPN, IMEI lock.
